I am a 3rd generation San Franciscan. I was born at 6:58pm on September 20th 1955 in the original Stanford Hospital, which at that time was in San Francisco. My Grandmother on my Dad's side taught Voice & Piano lessons in Noe Valley for 43 years before I was born. She was born with Polio and walked with a canes or crutches. She raised her 5 children here after my Grandfather was taken in a work related accident with the railroad.
My Grandfather on my Mom's side worked at Moffett Field as an Engineer and spent most of his spare time in the garage inventing "something". I was told he almost finished the automatic transmission but did not get it patented in time. I am still not sure if that is a Family Urban Legend. We had parts......... I think? When I was 5 years old my Mother gave me an over wound watch to play with so I would stay out of her way.... within an hour I handed it back to her working with the correct time set. She said, "You have your Grandfather's Gift"! I have been fixing anything I can get my hands on ever since. I am a "MacGyver". Give me a paperclip and a piece of chewing gum and I can fix anything! I have been on Mac's since they came out. My first was a "Mac Classic", it later went on to become an aquarium. Since then I have, worked on, and perfected just about every model of Macintosh ever introduced on the market. I Invest in Apple classes every year to keep up. I started in Specialty Store Management (Saks Fifth Ave, Palo Alto, CA) I Listen. I communicate very well with anyone I meet. I am tenacious and never give up solving any problem. I respond to you at the level you work on your Mac. I have extensive knowledge I ferreted out of all the Mac's I have worked on.
